Wi-fi is a service used in about every place that you can see. It helps with sending text, emails, and many more things included in your daily life. But there are times when your wi-fi is running very slow, or it does not show a signal at all, and this is a common occurrence. However, there are quite a few ways to potentially fix your wi-fi problems.

Check setting & restart:

First head to your setting and click on the wi-fi tab that is shown. After clicking on the wi-fi tab, click on your wi-fi that you use, then turn it off and back on. This should turn off the connection to your device and establish a new link to it. Another way to do this is to go to your settings and click on “Airplane Mode.” After you turn it on, it will turn off the internet connection on your device, and when you turn it off, it will automatically establish a new connection to your device. Many of these have different places on different devices but can possibly be found in the setting on most devices.

Restart router & modem:

Another method that can help fix your wi-fi router is to restart it. First go to your wi-fi router that is in your household. After you get to your router, look on the back and find the power cord connected to the device. After finding the power cord, unplug it from the router and wait for 15 to 30 seconds before plugging the power cord back into the router. When you plug in the power cord, the lights on the router may flash red, but that is not anything to worry about. This will turn off the connection to the landline that your router uses, and when you plug the power cord back in, it will establish a fresh, new connection from the router. I suggest waiting a few minutes after plugging in the power cord to let the wi-fi recalibrate itself and the established connection.

Contact your internet service provider:

If the other techniques did not work, then I suggest calling your internet service provider. There may be something wrong with your router, or the box that sends the radio signals. The Internet service provider may be able to fix your problems from their computer, if not, they will most likely send a wi-fi service man to your household to diagnose the problem and fix it. They will most likely fix the problems that have been occurring, and suggest solutions to fix them next time, or may stop it in general.

These solutions may prove to solve the problems you encounter, and solutions above may assist you in fixing your wi-fi problems.
